【轉發】Call for Papers - International Conference on“Cultural Exchanges at Medieval International Ports in Vietnam and Southeast Asia”

Dear Distinguished Scholars, Professors, Lecturers and Researchers:
International ports in Vietnam and Southeast Asia have had active contact and trading activities among residents inside and outside the region for a long time. This fact has facilitated the cultural exchange process to take place strongly and draw a very rich and unique cultural picture for this area. In order to exchange and discuss new research results on this issue, the Faculty of Cultural Studies and the Center for Chinese Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM in collaboration with Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation and Social Life Institute will be hosting an international conference on “Cultural exchanges at medieval international ports in Vietnam and Southeast Asia” in July 2019.
Time: July 12 and 13, 2019
Location: Hoi An City, Quang Nam Province, VIETNAM
The main contents of the workshop:
- Cultural identities of resident communities at medieval international ports in Vietnam and Southeast Asia;
- The contemporary culture of resident communities at medieval international ports in Vietnam and Southeast Asia;
- The process of cultural exchanges and transformations of resident communities at medieval international ports in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.

- Registration and abstracts should be submitted by May 01st, 2019 via web form: https://forms.gle/
